Early this morning, in meditation with the Lord, I reflected on some of the many recent changes in my life concerning some current opportunities that have been made available to me. One of the things that I realize more now than ever is this.
The collaboration of “who you know” and “what you know” are KEYS🔑 to UNLOCK🔐 a season of opportunity in your life.
The definition of opportunity is “a favorable or advantageous circumstance or combination of events. A chance for progress or advancement, as in a career. The proper time for an action or purpose affording a good possibility of success:” -thefreedictionary.com
WHO YOU KNOW is essential. Connecting to the right person or disconnecting from the right person will determine your season of opportunity. I know that God opens up doors that no man can shut and shut doors no one can open. There is one thing to remember. God works through people. He knows when you should meet a person or not. The Lord presents us with situations and circumstances, but we get to make choices. It is so important that we stay connected to those who God places in our paths for destiny.
WHAT YOU KNOW matters. There are certain people that you will connect with because they need what you know. And if they don’t need what you know, they know some people who do.
In the future, in your life’s journey, make sure that you are getting what you are supposed to be getting from those to whom you are connected. And on the flip side, make sure you give yourself to those you are supposed to be serving. Remember, there is reciprocity in this thing called life—just some food for thought.
Opportunities of a lifetime are being presented to us. I pray that you would see them when made available to you.
